How to use the rangefinder?

Formula ranging method

(Note: 1.The actual height of the known object 2.Calculating unit:meter)

There are vertical scale and horizontal scale on the coordinates. The unit of small grid is 0.5 density, and the unit of large grid is 1 density. The calculation formula for distance measurement is:

Distance(m) = Target Height(m) * 100 / The density of the target in coordinates

Example: As shown in the picture, the height of the sailboats is about 5 meters, and the height measured on the scale is 3. (Turn the focusing wheel until the object can be seen cleary.)

5m * 100 /3 = 167m

2. Rangefinder measurement method

(Note: 1.The actual height of the known object 2.Calculating unit:meter)

1.Turn the focusing wheel until the object can be seen clearly.

2.Coordinate the horizontal baseline of the coordinates with the bottom line of the object, and measure the height and density of the object.(as the picture shows)

3.Rotate the measuring circle, align the arrow at the position where the density scale is 3, and the observation distance is about 160 meters according to the object's height of 5 meters.
